Team of UAE entrepreneurs to visit Canada

A delegation of 10 UAE entrepreneurs from the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for SME Development (MBRE) will be heading to Vancouver, Canada, as part of the first 'SME Cleantech Mission'. The event will be held on March 24-26 during Globe 2010 – the 'business of the environment trade' fair and conference.

Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of MBRE, said: "The Cleantech Mission is in-line with the vision of the UAE leadership and the national strategy for 2021, where small and medium enterprises play a vital role in supporting sustainable development." The mission aims to create new opportunities through co-operation and learn about the latest innovations in energy, and waste management among other cleantech areas.
