Damac Properties yesterday unveiled a green luxury development, Marina Bay, at Najmat Abu Dhabi. The 24-storey project overlooks the marina and is at the seafront on Al Reem Island, the developer said in a release.

The eco-friendly project offers views of the canal that connects the entire development. Marina Bay is 300 metres from Abu Dhabi City Centre and 20 minutes drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Marina Bay is a mixed-use tower that offers retail on the ground and mezzanine levels, offices on the podium level and penthouses and duplexes on the higher floors.

Chairman Hussain Sajwani said in a statement: “The construction activity in Abu Dhabi is growing rapidly and the landscape is set to witness a significant change in the coming years. Coupled with the current construction boom and expected increase in population to more than double within a decade, Abu Dhabi is an ideal investment opportunity and a great place to live.”

Chief Executive Peter Riddoch said: “Marina Bay is designed to enhance the wealth and well-being of people while maximising water efficiency and using intelligent integrated building management systems.”

Marina Bay’s residential blocks offer one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and are equipped with smart-home technology, camera supervised parking with a 24-hour concierge and resident’s services.
