Eurostar eyes consumer electronics

Eurostar, leaders in the global satellite receiving systems industry for more than two decades, has announced its entry into the consumer electronics domain, as part of its ongoing growth strategy to diversify into new areas of business.

 

The announcement was followed by the launch of a wide range of Eurostar branded consumer electronics  and home appliances. The Eurostar range of consumer electronics includes plasma TVs, LCD TVs, conventional colour TVs, DVD players and home theatre systems.

 

The home appliances range will offer fully-automatic and semi-automatic washing machines, frost free and direct cooling refrigerators, split and window air-conditioners, microwave ovens, vacuum cleaners and heaters.

 

“The Eurostar range will be be available across GCC and Africa at very affordable prices. Products having high-end technological features will be competitively priced, spurring the demand in the region’s business arena,” said a statement.

 

Eurostar group is currently undergoing a mega growth phase in the Middle East and Africa. 

 

“By diversifying into consumer electronics we aim to further strengthen our foothold in the region by getting closer to our customer’s lifestyles and attending to their more distinct needs,” said Neeraj Mehrotra, vice-president at Eurostar.
