The Fakhruddin Group on Wednesday signed an agreement with EON Inks Automation in order to support its real estate subsidiary Fakhruddin Properties. EON Inks Automation will integrate its smart home packages into Fakhruddin Properties’ upcoming Grand Lagoons and Maimoon Towers projects.

The standard package will be installed at the Fakhruddin Properties projects, starting with the Grand Lagoons and the Maimoon Twin Towers with the option to be later upgraded or customised as desired by the ultimate customer, the property owner. The smart-home enabled Grand Lagoons and the Maimoon Towers residential projects are being developed on the Dubai Creek and Jumeirah Village South respectively.

“Demand for state of the art smart-home enabled apartments in Dubai has risen,” Fakhruddin said in a statement. “This is the first time we have worked with this company and we are convinced they can help us gain a competitive advantage in our upcoming projects, by introducing new concepts and new solutions with luxurious quality standards, offering the ultimate in comfort and convenience.”

Fakhruddin Group has been operating since 1963 in the UAE. The company has developed projects in International City, Dubai Sports City, the Lagoons in Business Bay and the Maimoon development in Jumeirah Village South. The standard EON package will be implemented as part of the agreement and will enable light automation, IP surveillance and integrated control. Integrated technologies for multiple lighting scenes, audio and video distribution, security camera surveillance, remote access to home systems, and environmental controls are among the various features that come with the package.

EON has in the past partnered with international brands such as Intel, Microsoft, Siemens, GE Security, AMX, Linksys, Logitech, HP, Dell, Philips, Sony, Vaio, Toshiba, Panasonic and Samsung.
