Kuwait's Mobile Telecommunications Co (Zain) is considering investing in Turkey's telecommunications, infrastructure and education sector, the company's chief executive said after a visit to the country. "The meeting with Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan was very fruitful," Al Qabas reported citing a statement from Saad Al Barrak. "We have noticed new trends for investment in one of the important markets in the region." The firm said Barrak had discussed investment opportunities in telecommunications, ports, roads, state-owned banks, education and health care. Barrak could not immediately be reached for comment.
