Foreign investors and institutional investors on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) continued to remain net sellers during the trading week ended February 5, 2009.
The value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during the week reached Dh360.5m comprising 43.1-per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dh361.5m comprising 43.2-per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
Net foreign investment on the market was Dh9,72,300 during the same period as aggregate sell. The value of stocks bought by institutional investors was Dh210.7m comprising 25.2-per cent of the value of stocks traded during the period.
They sold stocks worth Dh217.9m, which constituted 26-per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
Net institutional investment reached Dh7.2m during the period.
