Ajman warns against illegal advertisements

The Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman has warned residents against placing random ads on walls in residential and commercial areas, saying it vandalises the urban landscape.

The Department of Commerce licenses' said in an official statement that the warning was not intended for licensed and law-abiding ads placed on building facades and in building entrances within glass frames.

Non-compliance with the regulations of the licensing department will attract a minimum fine of Dh10,000.
