AMG charity drive for Gaza-affected

In line with the directives of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to launch a campaign to collect aid in both cash and kind to support Palestinian people in Gaza Strip, the Arab Media Group (AMG) has announced it will mobilise all print, audio and visual media channels to serve the campaign.

It will allow parties authorised to organise those campaigns to launch their advertisement campaigns free of charge through AMG media channels.

Commenting on the initiative, Abdullatif Al Sayegh, AMG CEO, said the initiative came from AMG keenness to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian people in Gaza Strip. "The humanitarian disaster suffered by our brethren in Gaza requires intensive efforts by all to help the affected."

He said the "AMG initiative is within the framework of the policy of our wise leadership, which gives great attention to humanitarian programmes and campaigns. We hope promoting humanitarian campaigns through our media channels will receive response from all categories of society in the country and help strengthen in the aid efforts."

AMG media channels include Noor Dubai, Nickelodeon Arabia, MTV Arabia televisions; Dubai Eye 103.8, Al Khaleejiya 100.9, Noor Dubai 93.9, Virgin Dubai 104.4, Al Arabiya 99, Hit 96.7, Dubai 92, Pulse 95.3 and City 101.6 FM radios as well as newspapers Emirates Business, Emarat Al Youm and Al Bayan.
