DMI wins region's first CIPS certification

Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) has announced it has been approved by Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) as the first government institution to win CIPS's certificate in Middle East.

DMI won the certificate by virtue of achievement of highest standards of excellence in the field of unified purchasing and supply services and realisation of organisational excellence that is related to the policies and procedures of purchasing and efficiency of strategic purchasing in companies.

The certificate is added to many international awards and certificates won by DMI.

Ahmad Abdullah Al Shaikh, DMI's Managing Director and Director-General, received the new certificate from CIPS's Chief Executive Officer David Noble.

Al Shaikh said DMI's winning of the certificate goes in line with keenness to provide best media services to Arab public.

This matches with Dubai Government's policy and its strategic directions in the application of highest international standards in all fields along with its continuing keenness to apply distinguished initiatives in all areas.

He congratulated all DMI's staff and purchasing section that managed to attain highest standards of success and excellence because of its team's wide experience, renewable capabilities and ability to apply highest standards of international quality in that regard.

Al Shaikh praised DMI for its achievements in the field of provision of media services, which are founded in quality and distinction.

He underlined the importance of continuing efforts to achieve more development and advancement.
