Dubai Print Awards on January 27

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Printing and Publishing Group will announce the winners of the Dubai International Print Award 2009 on January 27.

The event is being organised under the patronage of Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

The final awards ceremony for the fourth Dubai International Print Award 2009 will be held on January 27, at the Grand Hyatt in Dubai, according to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (DCCI) Printing and Publishing Group (PPG).

Ahmad bin Hassan Al Shaikh, Chairman of Printing and Publishing Group, said: "The Dubai Print Award 2009 have been very successful with 600 entries from across the region.

This year, we extended the Awards internationally and have included some entries from Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan as well as India and have also introduced new award categories.

"We have received some very exciting and innovative nominations and it's going to be a challenging task for our panel of judges to announce the final winners."

The Dubai International Print Award started in 2006 to offer companies operating in UAE's printing industry a benchmark of quality covering various categories with

respect to management efficiency and contemporary technological advancements.

It currently has 23 different award cate?gories across offset and digital printing to international participants across the region.
