UAE filmmakers set for Sundance

Four UAE filmmakers are headed to this year's Sundance Film?Festival as part of an Abu Dhabi?Film Commission delegation.

Writer and director Ali Mostafa, whose feature City Of Life premiered at last year's Dubai International Film Festival is accompanied by Hanan Al Muhairi, a winner of the Emirates Film Competition; Majid Alansari, director of the short films Colours; and Nawaaf Al Janahi, whose first feature The Circle premiered at the Gulf Film Festival in 2009. The ADFC is an official sponsor of the Sundance Institute and will offer the filmmakers unique access to festival events, screenings, etc.
