Bond varsity to offer degree in real estate

Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) is to offer a master's degree in real estate in partnership with Bond University.

Graduates are expected to become an elite corp of professional practitioners who will lead the integration of professional practice into the international network of best practice.

"This is a strategic move, with the long-term objective of adding a new tier of professionalism at the top of Dubai real estate sector. The benefits of this will have a positive impact on the marketplace," said Mahmoud El Burai, Rera's Director of Real Estate and DREI's Director of Training.

"The Dubai market is rapidly maturing and now the comparison is with the most advanced sections of the worldwide real estate sector. The skills must reflect this new reality," said El Burai.

The master's degree in real estate has a strong focus on the local market and targets real estate practitioners who are eager to improve their knowledge, skills and practices to excel in the industry both locally and internationally.

The partnership between DREI and Australia's Bond University will provide the UAE's real estate market with the most advance courses and offerings possible.
