Casamia Star Gesamtplanung Real Estate, a Dubai-based realty consultancy, yesterday said the company will aim to focus on real estate business as part of its efforts to further boost its presence in the region and build on the client base.
The company, which announced a new management team last month, said it is shifting focus from off-plan properties to ready-to-move-in properties to compete in the changing regional real estate environment.
Under the new management, Casamia Star will manage every stage of the real estate portfolio, including property acquisition and disposal as well as portfolio management for its clients. The decision is part of its growth plans in the Middle East.
Announcing the move, Hendrik A Hommel, CEO, Casamia Star, said: "Close on the heels of our decision to announce a new team to spearhead the growth trajectory of the company, we have now decided to focus on the real estate brokerage business as it offers a huge opportunity in the current global economic situation as well as the changed regional real estate landscape. Going forward, we plan to expand our presence across geographies.
