Landmark Properties yesterday announced the launch of Souq – an online reverse listing service – that helps buyers and leasers find sellers and landlords in a turbulent market.

Easily accessible from Landmark Properties' homepage, www.landmark-dubai.com, the Souq's innovative system gives buyers and leasers the opportunity to reach sellers and landlords by posting specific requirements. With help from Landmark's consultants, the Souq will maximise buyers' and leasers' chances of attracting the right seller or landlord for the right price.
"Since more than 70 per cent of customers begin their property search online, we developed the concept of the Souq to let buyers skip the middle-man and communicate their property and price requirements directly to the seller or landlord," said Charles Neil, Chief Operating Officer, Landmark Properties.

Souq, which went live on January 1, also benefits sellers and landlords, who are quickly realising that success in the current market means catering to the preferences of end-users and investors. "The Souq initiative was inspired by the fundamental changes in the Middle East's real estate market over the past six months. It is a new way for clients to use Landmark's extensive resources and understand what the region's buyers and sellers really want.

"The Souq represents our commitment to anticipate market fluctuations and adapt creatively, while upholding our proven reputation for exceptional customer service and industry leadership," Neil said
