Quick registration process for Burj Khalifa units urged

A delegation of the Land Department, chaired by Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director-General of Dubai Land and Property Department, has asked for speedy completion of registration formalities for all units in Burj Khalifa.

Earlier, the department had instructed those involved in the registration of units to finish entering the data of various units in a centralised system. The units have been classified into four categories – residential, office, hotel and shops.

In addition, the approval of the owner's associations of the tower's units based on categories will be finalised soon, so that associations of each of the four categories can come together to form one umbrella association.

The department said the maintenance of the tower would be done in line with world standards.
