John richmond launches scent

Milan-based British designer John Richmond has launched his first fragrance, an eponymously named eau de parfum. The designer says it is for the creative woman who loves life and change. Enclosed in a crystal glass bottle, there is a lock attached to the silver colour top, which can be used as a pendant with the bracelet enclosed with the package. "We jealously guard our most precious and desired possessions with a lock. We keep them private, just for us," says Richmond about the design. Dh299 for 50ml.

Tom Ford returns with White Musk

After the massive success of Arabian Wood, the house of Tom Ford has just introduced the Tom Ford Private Blend White Musk Collection. The collection features four distinctive fragrances inspired by one of the most important elements in the perfumer's palette: musk.

Presented in a bottle that has been designed to convey their lighter, whiter spirit, the four fragrances – White Suede, Musk Pure, Jasmine Musk and Urban Musk – each flacon is made in clear glass to showcase the light-coloured juices, topped with an ivory cap. The fragrances are offered in 50ml size only and cost Dh750 each.

Chloe gets intense

French fashion house Chloé has just launched an extension of their very popular fragrance called Intense. This new eau de parfum has a "refined and intriguing allure", says Chloé, and is presented in the same flacon as its antecedents, decorated with a grey ribbon.

Released by giant perfumer Coty, the new fragrance, says its manufacturer, is like the Chloé woman, offering a variety of facets. "Chloé fragrances complete each other, but are never the same. Three versions of a rose, like an elegant wardrobe to compose according to your desires and the seasons." Dh360 for 50ml.
