Du ties up with 300 firms in 120 countries

Telecom operator du has tied up with 300 mobile phone companies in 120 countries to offer global roaming services to its customers.

Du mobile customers travelling outside the UAE can now make voice calls, access data services, mobile internet, and 3G services such as video calling, on selected networks in other countries, according to du.

The roaming service is activated by default on all du monthly plan lines for UAE nationals.

Expatriates living in the UAE can activate the roaming service on their monthly plan lines by visiting any du shop.

Pay as you Go and Visitor Mobile Line subscribers can also enjoy roaming services from day one as the roaming service is already active on their du pre-paid lines.
