eHDF expands into Saudi Arabia

eHosting DataFort (eHDF), a member of Tecom Investments and one of the leading provider of IT outsourcing and advisory services, has expanded in Saudi Arabia.

The announcement follows eHDF's success at Gitex Saudi Arabia 2009, the eighth international IT exhibition held last month.

The kingdom's recent ranking as one of the top four most networked economies in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) is also expected to facilitate eHDF to explore opportunities and form strategic partnerships with companies in Saudi Arabia.

Mazen Abdelghany, Director of Commercial Operations, eHDF, said: "We intend to build on the Saudi government's great enthusiasm to promote the ICT sector and its keenness to deploy new tools of technology. In addition, the National Readiness Index has also ranked Saudi Arabia among the top in terms of business readiness and usage of ICT. Such government initiatives provide stimulus to the exciting opportunities in the ICT sector that will significantly facilitate our expansion."
