MBS planning expansion in the UAE, India

Mena Business Services (MBS), a Dubai-based call centre business organisation, is chalking out expansion strategy that includes setting up call centre facilities and customising the services as required by the clients. Towards this, the company is increasing its seating capacity of call centres by 100 each in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

"Contradictory to call centre business usually that involves business supporting operations from far distant and low-cost places, we are expanding our call centres and business activities to move closer to our customers," Bernd Steinhardt, Product Manager, MBS, told Emirates Business.

"Companies are cutting costs and the present scenario demands more business supportive services. Our customers prefer to have call centres in their regions only. Hence, we setting up call centres near to our customers with a focus on local requirements."

The firm increased its headcount from 400 to 800 in 2008. It has also decided to set up call centre facilities in Lebanon and India to cater to its customers in the US and Europe.
