ME firms set for India IT show

More than 250 software and services buyers from more than 50 countries, including several Middle Eastern nations, are expected to attend next month's Indiasoft 2010, the largest IT global networking event in India.

The tenth event is being held from March 10 to 12 at Jaipur, in the northern state of Rajasthan, said Kamal?Vachani, Regional Director of the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).

"Indiasoft 2010 is meant to facilitate joint ventures, collaboration and strategic alliances for outsourcing with overseas buyers," Vachani said.

By organising the event, ESC's initiative is to improve the visibility of the potential strength of Indian software industry especially, the SMEs and the start-up companies in the global IT market. The key focus would be on business services, finance, banking etc.
