Sharjah tourist attractions in focus at ITB

The International Tourism Bourse (ITB) to be held in Germany from March 10 to 14, will give Sharjah an ideal platform to promote its tourist attractions, said an official.

"We have high expectations for the ITB," Mohamed A Al Noman, Director-General of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority told delegates ahead of the event.

"The ITB will feature a diverse range of participants and tourist destinations. It will provide us an important promotional stage and a window of opportunity to market a wide array of tourism packages that will bring out Sharjah's distinctive international status," he said.
