Adec team to visit UK expo on education

A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) today begins a visit to a major classroom technology exhibition in London.

The team, led by Mohammed Salem Al Daheri, Head of the Abu Dhabi Education Zone, is attending the British Education and Training Technology (Bett) Exhibition.

Al Daheri said the council's 10-year strategic plan aims to develop educational facilities, provide excellent learning environment, meet quality standards set by the board, help students develop their skills and create a productive generation that would be able to deal with up-to-date educational technology.

"The visit will support the use of technology in Abu Dhabi schools through the promotion of modern methods and tools," he said.
