DEC and World Bank discuss report tie-up

Secretary-General of Dubai Economic Council (DEC) Hani Rashid Al Hamli and Iva Ilieva Hamel, an analyst with the joint World Bank-IFC Doing Business team discussed co-operation on preparing the Doing Business Report.

At the meeting, which was held in Dubai, the two sides signed an agreement to establish a strategic partnership between DEC and World Bank-IFC to enhance collaboration on an annual business report on Dubai. The meeting also discussed exchanging data and expertise to prepare reliable indicators for doing business Dubai.

Al Hamli said the UAE continues to improve business and investment environment through reforms and appropriate enacting legislations, which boosted FDI flow into the country. The World Bank publishes the Doing Business Report every year.
