Ministerial body studies medical sciences plan

The Ministerial Council for Services yesterday discussed suggestions presented by the Ministry of Health regarding standards to convert hospitals into facilities to house medical science institutions.

The proposal has been drawn up with a view to upgrade the hospitals into healthcare institutions based on top-class worldwide standards and promote development of human resources.

The meeting was chaired by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.

The meeting also discussed a number of other proposals, including studies to enhance the work of many federal authorities and institutions.
