Demsash Hailu, a spokesman for Ethiopia’s federal police, said the suspect was arrested Tuesday in the country’s remote north. He did not identify the suspect.
Brian Adkins was found dead in his home earlier this month in Addis Ababa. The 25-year-old was serving as a consular officer at the US Embassy in Ethiopia. He was a 2001 graduate of Whitehall-Yearling High School in suburban Columbus, Ohio, winning a four-year scholarship to George Washington University in Washington, where he also attended graduate school.
