The gunman charged in the 2008 bloody siege of Mumbai says he should be tried by an international court because he believes he is unlikely to get justice in India.
Mohammed Ajmal Kasab says the police have falsely implicated him in the Mumbai attacks case.
"I should be tried in an international court," he told Judge ML Tahiliyani.
He also said he wanted to call witnesses from Pakistan to defend himself in the Indian court.
Kasab could face the death penalty if convicted. He faces charges ranging from murder to conspiracy to wage war against India.
