Dubai's Emaar Properties said on Tuesday its Burj Dubai tower, the world's tallest, is about four months behind schedule.

"We are about four months late," Emaar Chairman Mohamed Alabbar told reporters.

Emaar has said it planned to complete the tower in 2008, without giving an exact date. The tower is part of a $20 billion Burj Dubai development which includes a shopping mall, hotels, and residential buildings. (Reuters)
