Car bomb explodes on Madrid’s outskirts
The bomb, in the Campo de las Naciones neighbourhood, exploded at about 9 am local time and broke windows, a police spokesman said. Also nearby is a building occupied by infrastructure group Ferrovial.
The blast, roughly an hour after the telephone warning and after police had cordoned off the area, came after Spain's Supreme Court late on Sunday banned Basque nationalist parties from participating in March's regional elections in the Basque Country, because of links to ETA.
