Euro zone inflation slows in February

Euro zone inflation slowed in annual terms last month as expected, data confirmed yesterday, suggesting price growth is likely to stay well below the European Central Bank target this year. European Union statistics office confirmed its earlier estimate that consumer prices rose 0.9 per cent year-on-year, after a 1.0 per cent increase in January.
