The UAE Cabinet will introduce new systems to monitor the performances of Federal ministries and departments to deliver world-class public services to consumers.
The proposal, made during the Cabinet meeting in Abu Dhabi, is in line with the implementation of the UAE strategy. It focuses on key areas such as health and was approved by the Cabinet last year.
The system proposed yesterday requires ministries to ensure the implementation of the strategy, greater transparency and to lay down efficiency targets for operations to ensure quality results.
The Cabinet also approved the appointment of the chairman and members of the board of the UAE Investment Authority.
The chairman will be Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, will be Vice- Chairman of the Board. (WAM)
