DNRD and Microsoft sign MoU

Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD) and Microsoft have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote the department's ability to keep pace with the latest information technology.

The MoU was signed by Major General Mohammad Ahmad Al Merri, Director General of DNRD, and Charbel Fakhoury, General Manager of Microsoft in Gulf.

The agreement stipulates that Microsoft shall provide network integrated solutions for DNRD through a programme with the purpose of encouraging co-operation between governmental organisations and academic institutions and other public sector bodies.
