Minister of Labour Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash has issued a ministerial circulation according to which all private sector employees in the UAE shall enjoy a paid Eid Al Adha holiday from Thursday, November 26, to Saturday, November 28. Also they will have Wednesday, December 2, as a paid holiday on the country's 38th National Day.

Federal Government staff will receive their salaries on Sunday in advance of Eid Al Adha. Pensions and social security payments from the Ministry of Social Affairs will also be transferred into bank accounts early because of the holiday.

Emirates Transport will pay salaries to its staff before Eid in line with the directives from the Minister of Education and the company's Chairman, Humaid Mohammed Obeid Al Qattami.

Khalid Ahmed Abdullah, Director of Financial Affairs at ET, said the transfer of November salaries to employees working at branches across the country would start beginning next week so that employees can meet their families' needs for the holidays.
