Finance ministry to share information with Dedad

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) and the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi (Dedad) yesterday signed an agreement to exchange details of financial strategies, plans, legislation and systems proposed or developed by the two sides.

This exchange of information will take place before plans and strategies are submitted to other authorities for review, approval and implementation.

MoF Director-General Younis Haji Al Khoori said the signing of the memorandum of understanding was in line with the Ministry's supervision of the preparion, formulation and execution of financial policies at the state level. It supported development and ensured economic stability while intriducing active financial management policies.

"The agreement will help to develop investment awareness in both the public and private sectors," he said.
