GE seeks strategic partnership with Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received General Electric’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Immelt yesterday.

They discussed the situation of global markets. Immelt expressed confidence over the global economy and markets’ rebound this year. He expressed desire to expand his company’s operations in the region by establishing  investment and strategic partnership with Dubai. The meeting was attended by Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, among others.
