Helicopter tour to help foreign press cover events

The Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) yesterday organised a helicopter tour in Abu Dhabi to enable the regional and international media to attend the three events held by the municipality in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region. The DMA, the regulative and legislative body of the municipal authority of Abu Dhabi, organised the tour in collaboration with Abu Dhabi City Municipality, Al Ain City Municipality, and Western Region Municipality. The tour included traditional and cultural celebrations showcasing the rich heritage of Al Ain and the Western Region, and concluded with an aerial tour of the multitude of celebrations and fireworks displays put on by the municipality of Abu Dhabi City.

International media included the BBC, Al Arabiya and Associated Press.
