Khalifa calls for boosting Turkmenistan-UAE relations

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Malikgulyyewi Berdimuha-medow yesterday attended the signing of two MoUs. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces, was also present.

The MoUs were signed between the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on economic, trade and technological co-operation. An air service agreement was concluded.

Sheikh Khalifa called for tapping of economic and investment opportunities that both countries offer, building true public-private sector partnership and bolstering co-operation in oil and gas, petrochemicals and extracting industries.
