Khalifa to attend Kuwait summit
The President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan will on Sunday leave for Kuwait, heading the UAE delegation to the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit (January, 19-20).
Sheikh Khalifa will be accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of State for Financial Affairs Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs Ahmed Jumaa Al Zuaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Ali Nasser Al Mail Al Zuaabi, the UAE Arab League Representative as well as UAE Ambassador to Kuwait Hassan Salem Obaid Al Khayal.
The Kuwait Summit will discuss the fallout of the global financial crisis on Arab economies.
