UAE-based Indian businessman Yusuf Ali was awarded India's fourth highest civilian award, the Padma Shri, in appreciation of his social and economic contribution.
Ali (pictured above), a member of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board and Managing Director of the LuLu Group received the award from Indian President Pratibha Patil.
"I dedicate this award to all the Indians working in the Gulf. I also thank the UAE Government for all their support and help," said Ali.
