Mohammed stresses on health and education for people

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has urged Dubai Executive Council (DEC) members to prioritise rendering of services to people, particularly the health, education and other vital services.

Attending parts of the DEC sessions, Sheikh Mohammed participated in the deliberations, which focused on the significance of implementation of the Dubai Strategy for 2010 in regard to the health and education sectors. Sheikh Mohammed called on DEC members  and heads of the public institutions to focus on field work and daily follow-up to score tangible results on the ground.

The DEC discussed the level of current performance to ensure the emirate is on track towards achieving the national strategic goals. It also tackled proposals and initiatives that could help in decision making and enhancing the governmental performance.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and the Chairman of the DEC, hailed the participation of Sheikh Mohammed in the DEC sessions.
