His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited the International Defence Exhibition (Idex) in Abu Dhabi on its concluding day yesterday.
Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Director of Dubai Ruler's Office Lieutenant General Musabbah Rashid Al Fattan.
On arrival at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Sheikh Mohammed was welcomed by Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, senior military and police officers, in addition to event organisers representing Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (Adnec).
Sheikh Mohammed toured the exhibition halls and was briefed on the latest military technology.
