His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain condemned the Israeli violence in Gaza in a meeting in Manama yesterday.

The two leaders discussed the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, and Israeli's injustices and slaughter of the Palestinian people.

They reiterated their support for Palestine and its people and committed to helping victims of the genocide, especially women, children and the elderly.

Sheikh Mohammed and King Hamad said it was imperative to stop the aggression and carnage in Gaza. The international community and the UN must intervene to protect civilians, stop the aggression and bring about a ceasefire, they said.

Sheikh Mohammed, who is on a visit to the Kingdom, was received earlier yesterday at Manama airport by King Hamad, other sheikhs, and senior officials of the Bahraini government and military.

Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Musabbah Rashid Al Fattan, Director of Sheikh Mohammed's Office and other delegates.

At the meeting the two sides also discussed ways to enhance brotherly trade ties between the two countries.
