A workshop on assessing a report on the status of the UAE Commercial Law in light of the Mena Commercial Law Project was organised yesterday at the Emirates Towers hotel in Dubai under the aegis of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The report will be later integrated into one comparative report providing a forum for regional policy dialogue and peer-learning for stakeholders in the Mena region.
The project is implemented by the Arab Centre for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity in co-operation with the Middle East Partnership Initiative in four countries – the UAE, Tunisia, Lebanon and Yemen.
The workshop was attended among others by Hamad Buamim, Director General of Dubai Chamber, and Dr Habib Al Mulla, Founder and Executive Chairman of Habib Al Mulla & Co.
