UAE Russia ambassador meets President Medvedev

UAE Ambassador to Russia Omar Saif Ghobash yesterday presented his credentials to President Dmitry Medvedev at the Kremlin.

President Medvedev expressed his country's desire to further develop ties of friendship and co-operation with the UAE, saying ties were developing in the fields of economy and trade. The ambassador said relations with Russia were excellent and were developing especially in energy and investments. The UAE is currently studying some Russian economic proposals, he said. Ambassador Ghobash also said his country was interested in further developing ties with Russia. Ghobash conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
