UAE youngsters aspiring to become the next Lionel Messi will get a bright chance to inch closer to their dream as Etisalat hosts three top coaches from Football Club Barcelona (FC Barcelona) to conduct a 3-day football clinic at the Etisalat Academy in Dubai.
The clinic, which consists a total of 15 hours of theoretical and practical training, will run from 13 May until 15 May. It will be conducted for two groups of UAE National Youth teams in 1996 and 1997 age categories, who will get insights and expertise from some of the most celebrated coaches in the soccer world. Also attending the sessions will be eight local coaches from the UAE’s youth clubs.
During this camp which is hosted by Etisalat, the Official International Partner of FC Barcelona, participants will be trained under the same successful methodology learned by the FC Barcelona players and will be acquainted with the club’s awe-inspiring style of football.

Participants will learn about perseverance, determination and discipline, which are all necessary in achieving their potential in both, life and sports. We believe that such programs for the youth are utmost important in building a better tomorrow for this nation.”
At the end of the training, Etisalat and FCBEscola, the official FC Barcelona school of football, will award each participant with a personalized certificate. Additionally, two children will be selected by the coaches to attend the Barcelona Youth Academy and a house match next season.
