Legends is one of Dubai’s underrated steakhouses. Even though it was renovated last year, it still looks somewhat dated, but don’t let this put you off as the food is excellent and reasonably priced.

Open for dinner daily from 7pm until 11pm and brunch every Friday and Saturday from 11.30am until 3pm.

Exchange Grill

The Fairmont, Dubai

Although steak is the name of the game at the Exchange Grill, those of a less carnivorous persuasion can choose from the selection of fresh seafood instead. But if steak is what you’re after this popular Fairmont venue has a range of tender prime aged Angus beef and a choice selection of accompanying beverages.

Open for lunch Sunday to Thursday from 12.30pm until 3.30pm and dinner daily from 7pm until midnight.

Ruth’s Chris

The Monarch, Dubai

If huge chunks of steak that cover the plate is what you’re after then look no further than Ruth’s Chris. The new Orleans-based steakhouse has proved just as popular on our shores as it has in it’s 40-year history in the United States. Steaks come on a bed of sizzling butter with generous side orders so make sure to go with a healthy appetite and wallet.

Open for lunch Sunday to Thursday from noon until 2.30pm and dinner daily from 7pm.

Hunters

The Westin, Dubai

The dark wooden interior and selection of knives when you walk into Hunters immediately set the scene and leave you in no doubt that this is a serious steakhouse. Watch the chefs prepare your choice cut of aged grain-fed beef from around the world then sit back and savour the flavour at this bustling venue.

Terra Firma

Al Badia Golf Club, Dubai

One of the newest steakhouses on the scene, Terra Firma serves an exclusive range of David Blackmore Wagyu as well as choice cuts of Australian beef. Guests can choose to dine in the dark-wooden decor of the restaurant or al fresco on the terrace as they look out over the fairways. A private dining room is also available for those celebrating a special occasion.
