Boat show to host 13 launches and 25 premieres

There will be 13 global launches and more than 25 regional premieres at this year's edition of the Dubai International Boat Show (Dibs).

The show will be held from March 9 to 13 at the Dubai International Marine Club. It will also showcase more than 25 superyachts exceeding 21 metres.

Superyachts already confirmed for the show include Al Banna 101, Astondoa 76, Astondoa 96, Aycer 110, Azimut 70, Azimut 75, Azimut 82, Azimut 98, Azimut 116, Benetti 86ft, Benetti Tradition, Custom Line 97, CPMG 121, Duretti 85, Emirates Waves, Hatteras 24, Majesty 77, Majesty 88, Majesty 101, Majesty 121, Manhattan 70, Red Sapphire 39, Silver Zwei 73, Sunseeker 38 and Westport 43.

Apart from the superyachts, visitors to the show will also be able to view 400 boats, live celebrity performances from the latest UK girl band, luxury shopping experiences, exciting demonstrations, a bubble lounge and VIP Majlis.

With some of the yachts extending more than 70 metres, the Dubai International Boat Show (Dibs) will be home to a huge variety of boats, showcasing the very latest design and innovation from all over the world.

"The number of superyachts at this year's show really adds to the overall offering. ART Marine will be bringing an impressive array of models from both Azimut and Benetti to this year's show."

"Sunseeker is currently expanding its operations throughout the region, and we are sure visitors will be amazed by the Sunseeker [38 metre] we are bringing to this year's show," he said.

"Dibs is reaffirming its position as the most prominent and diversified leisure marine exhibition in the entire region and as such, we expect again an interesting international visitor crowd," said Erwin Bamps, Chief Operating Officer, Gulf Craft. "For the 2010 edition we have prepared a number of exclusive world premieres, including the Majesty 101 with a completely revamped interior layout and finishing."

Dibs will be open to trade visitors and the general public, from 3pm – 9pm daily.
