Arab music superstars to rock Abu Dhabi festival

Arab music superstars Carole Samaha and Fady Andraos will top the bill at the free Wakestock Abu Dhabi festival at Al Sahil beach on the Corniche.

They will perform alongside alternative rock band Maximo Park and hip hop legends De La Soul. The event is being organised by Flash Entertainment in partnership with the municipality and Abu Dhabi Beaches.

''We are really excited about the programme," said John Lickrish, Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi-based live entertainment company. "Irrespective of age and background, Wakestock Abu Dhabi offers something for everyone with its unique combination of top regional and international artists by night and jaw-dropping wakeboarding action by day.

The event will run from March 4 to 6.
