Ajman Municipality on Facebook and YouTube

The Ajman Municipality and Planning Department has opened accounts on Facebook and YouTube to open communication channels with the public.

Mohammed Yousef Al Nuaimi, Acting Head of IT Departments, said the municipality has started receiving notices and queries from the public and its partners on these websites.

"The municipality is keen to open communication channels with its clients and strategic partners by deploying technology and through quickest and easiest possible means," he said.

Offering high-technology services also enhances the municipality's status locally, regionally and internationally. The Facebook and YouTube services are available via the municipality's website: www.ae.go.ae, said Al Nuaimi.

The move came following the directions of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the municipality, for bolstering communication channels with the clients and strategic partners within and outside the emirate.

The municipality is focusing efforts to transform into e-government department. Public notices and suggestions filed via Facebook and YouTube pages will be forwarded to the relevant department. It will be also used to get the necessary feedback on the performance of the municipality's different departments, added Al Nuaimi.
