Actor Peter Fonda finds days-old dead body

Hollywood actor Peter Fonda found a dead body on Wednesday night, celebrity website TMZ reports.

According to sources quoted by the site, it was the body of a man who had committed suicide.

Sources told Fonda was driving on Sunset Boulevard in the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles at around 2pm Pacific Time, when he saw a car parked on the side of the road.

Fonda got out of his car to check out the situation, and found the body of a man slumped over in the front seat. The actor then called 911 to report his find. Police and the coroner are now on scene.

The site said the body had reportedly been there for about three days
