Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her black obsession at any red carpet event is common knowledge.

This time the former Miss World left no scope even for her staunchest critics to raise an eyebrow.

In a ruffled one-shoulder black gown at the launch of the Lodha Group's 'The Park' in Mumbai on Monday, Aishwarya looked a stunner.

The actress dazzled as she looked picture perfect in her figure-accentuating gown posing for the cameras as confidently as ever.

With some dark eye make-up, the brunette let her bouncy cascading curls down.

Aishwarya, who has always been under the watch of fashion writers, has managed to silence her critics this time.

Thanks to Ash's numerous public appearances and brand endorsements, it doesn't feel like she has taken a break from movies.

Realty developer Lodha Group has roped in Aishwarya as brand ambassador for its 17.5-acre premium project 'The Park' in central Mumbai's Worli.

Apart from being associated with the project as her latest assignment, the actor has bought a 4-bedroom apartment in the project for more than Rs 5 crore (INR).

When not raising her daughter Aaradhya with husband Abhishek Bachchan, the 39-year-old actress is shooting advertisements for L'Oreal, making appearances for Longines, hobnobbing with royalty at the Royal Ascot and riding the Orient Express in glam gowns.

While her fans wait eagerly to see her again on silver-screen Ash said she has been in talks with filmmakers for a while, but she believes that she should not make an announcement herself.

Ever since the birth of her daughter Aaradhya in 2011, Aishwarya Rai has cut down on her work and has said she wants to spend as much time with her daughter than work.

One-and-half-year-old Aaradhya accompanies her busy mom to almost all her professional assignments abroad. Since this launch was in Mumbai, we guess the little one must be enjoying her day with her grandparents.
